Mage Grinding Spots For a Horde Player

Matthew D Cox asked:

From level 1 to 15 as a mage your ability to go up levels is not much different from other players. You’re going to start out in the Valley of Trials, running around Mulgore as a Tauren, or in the Ruins of Laerdan as an undead. Do as many quests as you can at this level, since they are abundant and raise your rank the fastest.

At level 15 you will notice your rise ability slowing down. The focus now is to look for quick kills that die to magic attack, pay cash, and give you good points. In the Barrens that would be the Harpies to the northwest. You will find them taking the Barrens road north and then turning 90 degrees west towards the forest and mountains. They flutter in the valley among the trees. They also have good loot chests here and there.

From Levels 15 through 20 you’re still in the Barrens and now your focus is on the Bristleback tribe. There are 2 or 3 quests you can combine with this grinding. You will find the tribe behind the mountain northeast of Crossroads and circling around in 3 specific locations. Most of the spawn is specific to their zones, however, Bristleback hunters with their pet wolves roam the area and can surprise you if you’re not paying attention to their location. At this level it’s easy to get killed in a mob when surprised. Most of the spawn are fighters, but the water seekers can cast spells at you.

Now moving up to level 20 through 25 it’s time to start traveling. You need to go to the Eastern Kingdom continent and get to the undead land. The fastest way is to go back to Ogrimmar and catch the blimp to Tirisfal Valley. Then travel south to Hillsbrad. At Hillsbrad you will get a couple of quests to knock out the local human farms. With all the spawn and critters in the way, you should be able to grind well. If you’re on a PvP server be careful of Alliance rogues. They tend to targeting like the area for low-level Horde players. Just west of the area is a dungeon for Yeti which offer nice challenges and points as well for gain.

Alternatively, if you want to stay in Durotar, you should head south of the Barrens to Thousand Needles and take on the Galak Scouts and tribes. These are centaur specific to the area, and give a combination of fighters and mages. They are plentiful and easy to kill if you pull them one at a time. Watch out for roving critters and a pack of 5 hyenas that roam the roads between the tribes.
Back in Hillsbrad you can also add to your grinding points by going after Mud Gnolls.

Grimtotems are your targets in Durotar for levels 25 to 30. These are a bunch of Tuaren that rebelled against the local order and set up their own camp on top of one of the Thousand Needle plateaus. You will find the path to their camp near the great lift from the Barrens. Grimtotem Tauren are easy at first being primarily fighters. You don’t get into the thick of it until you raid their central camp. Pull each zone one at a time or you will get mobbed from all sides. You can also add a quest or two associated with this area by making a stop at the local Horde camp.

In the same area to the east you can also explore the Shimmering Flats. This zone has an abundance of critters to grind on all the way to Level 38. First you have basilisks and scorpions. Then there’s a few wind devils roaming around as well. To the south is the bigger grinding challenge. You find the infestation of Slithid insects around a nest they’ve built in the sand. They are swarmers so they will mob quickly and attack fast. Don’t make the mistake of going into the trenches around the next until you have cleared the surround area. Once inside the next your pulls will be easier, but you can quickly get killed not paying attention to the attack bugs around the nest.

When you’re in sight of Level 38, it’s now time for you to travel north a bit to the Dustwallow Village. Set up base here and resupply. Then go to the very north east islands and you will find Murlock Warriors/Oracles. They are easy to pull, give cash per kill, and give good points. Grinding away on these frogmen will bring you will in sight of Level 40, and prepare you for the rest of the Dustwallow Swamp and its offerings.

Horde Leveling Guide – Leveling a Horde Character in the Barrens

Nick Markus asked:

World of Warcraft is the extraordinary massive multiplayer online role-playing game that has captured the imaginations of hundreds of thousands of people all over the globe, and if you are interested in getting started, you will find that you are not alone. When you have purchased the game and installed it, you are going to find yourself faced with a decision between two very different factions. The Horde and the Alliance are the two factions that are battling each other as well as the evil Lich King, and if you are interested in playing on the Horde, you can choose between the Tauren, the Orcs, the Trolls, the Undead, and the Blood Elves.

When you play World of Warcraft, you will find yourself in a place where your character begins at level one. To progress, or to level, you will need to complete quests and to kill enemies. You will be able to track your experience and how far you have to the next level on a blue bar that runs across the bottom of your screen. The beginning levels are quite simple, and you can earn experience points fairly quickly, but the game will become more difficult and you will soon need to earn more experience points to get to the next level.

If you are leveling a Horde character, one common place to go after you finish the starting area around level 10 is going to be the Barrens. The Barrens are a desolate desert area, and it is one of the largest regions that you will run into. Questing in the Barrens can take you from level 10 to level 20 or so, and it is a common destination for Trolls, Orcs, and Tauren, because their starting areas are nearby. While many players do opt to quest in Silverpine Forest, where the Undead usually take on these levels, or the Ghostlands, where the Blood Elves typically level, there are many rewards to be had from questing in the Barrens.

When questing in the Barrens, you may wish to first go to Ogrimmar, the capital city of the Trolls and the Orcs. This gives you the advantages of the Auction House, your bank, and the trainers that you will need, and setting your hearth here can make things much simpler for you. From there, you can start adding your flight points; once you have the flight points at Camp Taurajo and the Crossroads, traveling will be much quicker. You can also pick up the minor flight pint in the neutral town of Rachet.

To begin leveling in the Barrens, head to the Crossroads. This will get you started in quests that are of an appropriate level, and as you progress, you will start heading south. Be ready to do a fair amount of running, but once you pick up the flight point at Camp Taurajo in the south, you’ll be surprised at how fast things go.

Leveling a World of Warcraft character in the Horde has a lot to offer, so check out the Barrens and see what this area can do for you!

Horde Leveling Guide – How to Level a Horde Character

Daniel D. Davidson asked:

For those who belong or plan to belong to the Horde, which is one of the two key political factions in the World of Warcraft game, this is your leveling guide. The races that belong to the Horde are the Troll, Tauren, Orc, Undead, and Blood elf. For beginner levels one to 11, each race will have its one starting zone. To level up from 12 to 25, you will want to begin at The Barrens. You will have to go to the Crossroads in the barrens and you will have to choose several easy and useful quests. It is recommended that you do the Hunter’s Way for a quest that is easy to deliver.

Other quests that you may want to accomplish include The Forgotten Pools, Raptor Thieves, The Stagnant Oasis, Warfmaster Dizzywig, Altered Beings, The Zhevra, Plainstrider Menace, Supplies for the Crossroads, and Centaur Bracers. When you have reached level 15, it is suggested that you go to Orgrimmar for the Ragefire Chasm. Some of the quests in this area are The Power to Destroy, Testing an Enemy’s Strength, Hidden Enemies, and Slaying the Beast. It is also recommended that you repeat Ragefire Chasm to gain many items and increase your XP. Upon reaching level 18, you may leave the Ragefire Chasm and return to the Crossroads in the Barrens.

Some of the quests that you may complete at the Crossroads include Miners Fortune, Stolen Silver, Wanted: Baron Longshore, Intact Raptor Horns, Verog the Dervish, Ignition, Egg Hunt, Counterattack, Lost in Battle, The Guns of Northwatch, Chen’s Empty Keg, and Consumed by Hatred. After completing some of these quests you should be able to attain level 25. If not, you may head to the Wailing Caverns and do not leave this zone until you get to level 25.

After attaining level 25, the next zone would be Thousand Needles, which you can reach by traveling directly south from the barrens. It is suggested that you remain in this zone until you reach level 40. You may try the quests Alien Egg, Message to Freewind Post, Wind Rider, Grimtotem Spying, Sacred Fire, Serpent Wild, Salt Flat Venom, Load Lightening, Hypercapacitor Gizmo, Hardened Shells, Wind Rider, Martek the Exiled, A Bump in the Road, and Rocket Car Parts.

After level 40, you can initiate instance leveling because this is the fastest way to level up, and it is also time to have a group. The first dungeon for your group should be the Uldaman in the Badlands. After finishing some quests here, your group can travel to the Razorfin Downs instance that is located in the barrens. The next instance to go is The Temple of Atal’Hakkar that is located in the Swamp of Sorrows. You can enhance your level here by grinding.

The next place to go is the Blackrock Depths for such quests as the Dark Iron Legacy, The Love Potion, and Commander Gor’Shak. After this, the next instance to go is the Blackrock Spire for quests such as En-Ay-Es-Tee-Why, Kibler’s Exotic Pets, and The Pack Mistress. The last instance to go to reach level 60 is the Scholomance.

WOW Horde Guide – Learn The Secrets To Leveling Fast With This Horde Guide

Christopher Luke Jones asked:

If you have been playing World of Warcraft for anything more than 5 minutes you will already know that it is one tough game. This article will give you some tips and tricks that will help you race through the levels as a Horde player.

The first thing you should bear in mind is not to worry to much about equipment especially in the lower levels as I have got many horde and alliance players to level 70 and the equipment like weapons, armour etc.. Really did not help as much as you think it might.

The main thing to do in the early levels is just quest like mad. You should have no problem completing the early quests that get you from 0 to 10 as they are done within the training zone, but you should not stop there I would say carry on questing solidly until you are at least level 30 and then start doing some other stuff like instances and so on.

Another thing you should remember to do is get loads of quests at once. You should not just accept one quest and run off to complete it but instead make sure that you pick up all the quests you can as you can hold up to 25 in your log and you will also find that a lot of them are completed in the same area so you will end up handing in all of them together and getting loads of XP for them!

Another good thing to get into the habit of doing is grinding on your way to a destination or quest target. If you grind all beats and humans at any point you can in the game then you will be combining questing with grinding and I think this is the quickest way to level up your character.

If you are still stuck as to what to do and how to level up then maybe you should look at investing in an WOW Horde Guide that will show you exactly where you need to be at any given point and most good ones also contain a map showing interest points and so on.

Some people regard a WOW Horde Guide as cheating but you are not doing anything wrong, as lets face it you pay a fee every month to keep playing the game as it is so you want to get some enjoyment out of it!

I hope this article has server as a started WOW Horde Guide and wish you happy adventures!

Niche Horde

Daniel Sudhakar asked:

Niche Site building is a hot topic. Building a niche horde to profit from is what everyone is looking for. But how do you find the specific niche topic for your site? Now that is something not everyone is very confident about. In fact most people get stuck at this precise point. They know that niche sites can produce a lot of traffic. They also know that niche sites can generate good profits. The only thing that prevents them from proceeding further is their total lack of knowledge in the area of niche topic selection.

The first thing to build a niche horde is to find which particular niche topics get enough traffic from Google to be profitable for you. For this purpose, you can use Google’s AdWords Keyword Tool, which shows you the amount of searches that each specific keyword gets in Google.

Once you know the search volume for a particular keyword, you then need to determine the competition for that keyword. This can easily be determined by entering the keyword in Google and viewing the results column that shows the number of websites that are already available for that particular keyword. Now this figure shows the competition for the selected keyword. Now based on the search volume as well as the competition, you should be able to decide which keyword would generate good traffic to be profitable enough for your purposes, as well as one that has a manageable level of competition, so that your site does not become a drop in the ocean among a large number of other websites focusing on the same niche.

By doing this study systematically, you can discover one profitable niche after another and eventually build a niche horde that could generate good amounts of profit for you.

Horde Leveling

Richard Kevinson asked:

World of Warcraft admin and other concerned game masters decided to increase the experience gained form every player. This causes the level curve to increase as well. As a result, many players becomes frustrated and decided to stop playing the World of Warcraft.

However, the game can leave this feeling of happiness in players. The insatiable desire to become stronger in the World of Warcraft brings upon the invention of Horde Leveling.

So what exactly is Horde Leveling?

Horde leveling are written or made guides, ready for installation to your computer. One horde leveling is not exactly the same from the other because of its different features. One guide may be purely oriented towards levelling while some may be oriented to other aspects of the game as well.

One of the most popular guides is Joana’s World of Warcraft horde guide. It has a strong and continuing success because of its established reputation. It is a little bit pricey but what can you say? Many people who used this guide are now in the upper level. Yes, you may think that this may be one of the oldest horde leveling guides – it is! It pioneered the levelling guide in the World of Warcraft and quickly improved through time.

Speaking of newer types of guides, one popular name is Quest Up World of Warcraft Horde levelling guide. This is a relatively new, but super affordable guide. Using this is nice if you are one of those “straight forward” players who want quick experience through quests. Quest Up even guarantees a 7 day period to level 80 if you use it as instructed!

So, in choosing a horde levelling, always consider its feature and price. After all, you are the one who is going to use it. Good luck and happy horde leveling!

Horde Leveling Guide – Leveling Up a World of Warcraft Horde Character

Nick Markus asked:

Whether you have only recently started playing World of Warcraft or you find yourself in a place where you have been playing for a while and you are stuck, you will find that there are certain tips that can help you. One of the best reasons to play this particular massive multiplayer role playing game is because of all the choices that you are given, but there are some tips that are going to be great no matter where you go. If you are interested in leveling a Horde character, one of WoW’s two main factions, there are some tips that you can keep in mind.

In the first place, get off to a good start. The beginning levels are very easy, and after the first time you play through them, you might simply wander through them without much thought. This, however, is a mistake! If you are playing a new class, use the beginning levels to figure out your class works. How close do you have to get before you attack and what’s a good sequence for your attacks? The beginner levels allow you to experiment without needing to worry about your character dying all the time.

Another choice that you will have when you are thinking about leveling a horde character is where you want to spend your time after you leave your starting zone. Until now, the question was once resolved simply by heading to the Barrens, one of the largest zones in the game. While the Barrens will take you from level 13 to 23 or so, you now have the option of heading to the Ghostlands instead. The Ghostlands, available after the Burning Crusade expansion, allow for slightly quicker leveling that doesn’t force you to spend a lot of time running over a large zone. The rewards are also slightly better and you can leave the Ghostlands a little better geared.

If you are interested in playing a Horde character, another solution would be to follow a quality Horde Leveling Guide. Also, you will find that you have three major cities to choose from. In terms of being centrally located, Orgrimmar is a big favorite in terms of being a good place to set your hearthstone, with Undercity as a close second, but you will also find that you can set your hearth to Shattrath as well. Shattrath is a major city in Outlands with portals to all of the major cities on Azeroth. While less important for lower level questers, having your hearth set to Shattrath can reduce travel time and contribute to much faster leveling.

Take some time to learn more great Horde leveling tips; the more you know about the game, the more effectively you are going to be able to play your character and the more fun you will have!

WOTLK Guide – How to Get to Dalaran

Marcus Ty asked:

The magical city of Dalaran is a wondrous place, ruled by the council of the Kirin Tor. To protect the city from the might of Arthas who lay siege to the city, the powerful Mages that make up the council of the Kirin Tor levitated the city high above the Crystalsong forest of Northrend where it floats today in the latest WoW expansion of Wrath of the Lich King.

But how do you get there?

Those of the Alliance Mage class should make the perilous journey to Dragonblight and the Star’s Rest encampment. There you will find a glowing image of Archmage Modera. Provided you have reached level 71 Modera will ask you to become Attuned to the Ley Lines of Northrend and give you the quest ‘Attunement to Dalaran’. Horde Mage players can pick up the same quest from Archmage Aethas Sunreaver at Agmar’s Hammer.

The quest reward will be a teleport to Dalaran! Once there, Mages can learn to teleport there permanently via the portal trainer Archmage Celindra. At level 74 Mages can learn to create a portal to Dalaran allowing members of the Mage ’s group to reach there.

For those players not of the Mage Class must wait until level 74 where they can pick up the quest ‘The Magical Kingdom of Dalaran’ from a number of quest givers found in major towns throughout Northrend. Alliance players try Baron Ulirik von Stomhearth at Howling Fjord, Valgarde; Horde Players try Magistrix Kaelana, Borean Tundra, Warsong Hold.

Once in Dalaran, players should pick up the quest ‘Learning to Leave and Return: the Magical Way’ from Celindra who will demonstrate the use of the teleportation crystal that will take you to and from a similar crystal located in the Violet Stand, Crystalsong Forest, directly below Dalaran.

But if you really want to leave Dalaran in a hurry, try finding the sewer exit in the Underbelly that will chute you out of the bowls of Dalaran into the frigid sky of Northrend. Be sure you have a parachute, though, or at least a means to ’slow fall’ as its a very, very long way down!

Horde Grinding Guide – The Fastest Way to Level 80?

Thomas Lawrence Wilson asked:

Horde Grinding Guide vs. Horde Questing Guide

There are still some people, who believe that grinding is the fastest way to level 80, so they want to get the best horde grinding guide.(Of course, in case they are playing with horde, but this article is for players playing with horde characters.) If you are one of these, then I must warn you: grinding is much slower than questing. I’m writing this to compare grinding and questing and draw the conclusion in order to show you that questing is much more effective.

Grinding

Grinding means, that you find a spot, where you kill the same creatures over and over again, until you gain level, when you must find another spot and do the above mentioned process again. This method was very popular at the very beginning of the game, when the quests were more difficult to complete. Grinding is still popular among very well geared, AoE (area of effect spell, for example: arcane blast) capable players.

Horde Grinding Guide

A horde grinding guide is a guide, which tells the player , which grinding spots are the best for their level. It may also tell you, what equipment and talent build to choose and the whole guide is only about these things.

Questing

In general questing is a better way for leveling, because when you complete the quest you will get additional XP and item rewards. Besides, completing quests in a particular zone may increase your reputation with certain factions. At high reputation level you will be able to buy epic items from faction vendors.
